The TUC is conducting an on-line survey among workers that use Personal Protective Equipment. We want to find out whether employers are supplying it and who is paying for it.

The CWU amongst other unions is encouraging all members working with PPE to take part in the survey.

Dave Joyce, CWU's National Health, Safety & Environment Officer writing in letter to branches LTB095/12 said:

"They want to find out whether employers are supplying PPE, who is paying for it and if workers are using it. Remember PPE is not just safety boots and hard hats, it can include overalls, aprons, hats, sunscreen, etc. The survey is very simple to fill in and should not take more than a couple of minutes.
